Courses
This semester (Spring 2012), I am teaching:
and advising (independent studies):
- Felicia Cordeiro '12: Motion Simulation of Geometric Constraint Structures
(honors thesis)
- Rittika Shamsuddin '12: Computational Identification of Hinge Proteins
(honors thesis)
- Gabby Snyder and Ruimin Cai '14: IHart: Interactive Hallways for Attraction and Retention to Technology
- Jessie Hamelin '13, Jingjing Rong '15 and Liye Fu '15 (in cooperation with Dr. Dan Barry): Robotics and mobile devices
Research
My research is in computational geometry -- algorithms
and applications for geometric problems. A particular focus is in the
area of rigidity theory, with motivating problems coming from
biology and CAD (computer aided design). I continue to be affiliated with the
LinKage group at UMass
led by Ileana Streinu.
